The women's evolution may be currently happening in the WWE, but it could reach new heights at WrestleMania 33.

The women's division on "Monday Night RAW" took a huge hit when it was revealed Paige will miss the next 30 days due to a suspension for violating the wellness policy and former Women's Champion Sasha Banks was taking some time off to heal up her injuries.

To its credit, the WWE was quick to act after seeing its roster start to thin out, and called up Bayley from NXT to make her debut on "Monday Night RAW."

Bayley lit up the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and defeated Dana Brooke. It appears the former NXT Women's Champion will now set her sights on Women's Champion Charlotte, who defeated Banks at SummerSlam.

Perhaps it's only fitting that Bayley's main roster debut came at the Barclays Center.

Last year, on the eve of SummerSlam, she and Banks absolutely stole the show in a 2015 Match of the Year candidate, putting on a clinic which saw Bayley finally achieve her dream of winning the NXT Women's Championship.

The two ladies captivated the audience that night in New York City and went on to steal the show again at NXT Takeover: Respect when they main evented the show by becoming the first women to ever compete in an Iron Man match.

Now that both are entities of "RAW," it would only make sense for them to be booked against one another at WrestleMania 33 on April 2, 2017, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Having one of them enter as the Women's Champion would obviously enhance the bout.

The WWE has done a better job with the women's division, but it has yet to have that breakout match that defines change like Bayley and Banks had last summer in NXT. The WrestleMania Triple Threat pitting "The Boss" against Becky Lynch and Charlotte came close.

Banks' bout with Charlotte at SummerSlam was also very good, but it wasn't the five-star classic match the WWE needs to usher in the women's evolution.

If any two people are capable of putting that match on, it would be Banks and Bayley as the two ladies clearly have chemistry and are used to raising the bar against one another.

Now that both ladies are on the main roster and exclusive to the "RAW" brand, the stage is set for them to steal the show at WrestleMania 33 by having a classic match to finally put women's wrestling on the map in the WWE.
