Samoa Joe has no doubts in his mind who he's rooting for at SummerSlam.

This Sunday, Brock Lesnar of "Monday Night RAW" will battle "SmackDown Live's" Randy Orton in an inter-promotional match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in the main event of "The Biggest Event of the Summer."

Joe, who will take on Shinsuke Nakamura for the NXT Championship at NXT: Takeover Brooklyn II in the main event on the eve of SummerSlam in the same venue, made it clear he wants Lesnar to look strong until he gets a piece of him down the line.

"For selfish reasons, I'd like to see Brock stand tall until I get my hands on him," Joe said, according to Forbes. "I'd like to see Brock pull through so I can get my shot at him."

Joe has been in NXT for a long time now and wasn't one of the six Superstars called up by the WWE for the Draft and brand extension. The group of six NXT stars that were called to the main roster was headlined by Finn Balor, who will face Seth Rollins for the newly minted WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

It's likely Joe will be called up to the main roster in the future and after which, he wants to face Lesnar.

When asked where he wants to do battle with "The Beast," Joe made it clear he wants it to be on the grandest stage.

"WrestleMania 33," he said. "Where else would we fight?"

The "Show of Shows" will emanate live from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on April 7, 2017.
