As Nikki Bella continues to work her way back to the WWE, there is a growing fear her career may never be the same.
The formerly longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history hasn't been around since October due to a neck injury, which she had surgically repaired back in January. When she does return, she'll be coming back to a very different WWE.
Bella's sister Brie retired after WrestleMania 32 in April in order to start a family with Daniel Bryan and to focus on other endeavors. The brands also split, causing some Superstars to be exclusive to "Monday Night RAW" and others to be entities of "SmackDown Live" on Tuesdays.
Bryan, Bella's brother-in-law, is the general manager of the Blue Brand, working with commissioner Shane McMahon, while Bella's real-life boyfriend John Cena is also a part of "SmackDown Live." It appears likely Bella will be headed to the Blue Brand once she's ready for a return.
Though she's been actively training for a comeback, Bella hasn't been medically cleared to compete yet in the WWE, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. The "Fearless" Superstar isn't likely to ever be able to work a full-time schedule due to her neck injury, so she'll likely return as a part-time competitor.
It's unknown when Bella will get the go-ahead to forge a return, but in the mean time she's preparing for the new reality show "Total Bellas," which will feature The Bella Twins, Cena and Bryan living together and premieres on Oct. 5.
Bella may not be cleared to compete, but she's certainly getting some work in. The WWE Superstar posted a photo of her and other ladies training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando alongside UFC star Shayna Baszler:
So beyond happy to be able to do what I love again!! Whoever said "the impossible is possible" was damn right! N pic.twitter.com/xgXpzPBYkQ

As she waits to be cleared for a return to the ring, Bella certainly looks as though she's ready for a comeback.
