Bayley has thrived in NXT, but that doesn't mean she wants to remain there forever.

It appeared as though the former NXT Women's Champion would be a logical choice for a call up following the brand extension, but the WWE glossed over her.

During the WWE Draft on July 19, the WWE called up Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Nia Jax to add to the women's division, while American Alpha Finn Balor and Mojo Rawley were also selected.

Bayley did make her main roster debut last month, however, as she teamed with Sasha Banks at Battleground on July 19 and the powerful babyface duo defeated then-Women's Champion Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

After that appearance, Bayley went back to NXT and she's still awaiting her main roster call up.

With SummerSlam on the horizon, a higher emphasis on women's wrestling occurring on the main roster and the WWE splitting its talent into "RAW" and "SmackDown Live" talents, Bayley admitted she's getting frustrated over not getting called up.

"I think I'm getting more towards [frustration]," Bayley told WWE Superstar Chris Jericho on the 'Talk is Jericho' podcast (via WrestlingInc). "When they first went up, I was so excited and just like, 'dude, I'm just so happy for you guys -- if you guys can mold the division and make it easier for me when I get there, like, go for it!' and I had things I wanted to work on here [in NXT].

"I had to be the champion and like being able to work with a lot of the younger girls, which I think has been great for me that I wouldn't be able to do if I moved with them. Like, I think I've learned more in this past year than I have in, I don't know, just my whole career because I have to work with all levels of people, but now, I think I've done what I can and especially after WrestleMania [32] and saw their amazing match and the new Women's title, I'm like, 'dude, this is where I need to be.' So now, I'm pretty, like, 'alright, let's do this!'"

Bayley has watched on as Charlotte had a record run with the Women's Championship and now Banks, with whom she had amazing matches at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn and NXT Takeover: Respect, holds the gold. Then, she looked on as many others were called up ahead of her.

Though she's not on the main roster, Bayley will be a huge part of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II on Aug. 20 when she battles Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
