Barcelona and AC Milan will lock horns today at 2:45 p.m. in a UEFA Champions League Group H showdown pitting several of soccer's highest-profile stars against one another in a match that can be live streamed here.
While Milan is second in Group H, their Serie A season has coach Massimiliano Allegri under fire. "This is the most difficult situation I've faced in my three-and-a-half years at Milan Allegri said. "I'm responsible for everything."
Allegri needs to patch up the problems in a hurry if Milan is to withstand the attack of Lionel Messi, who leads Barca with four goals in just three games.
"We cannot play as bad as we did against Fiorentina," Allegri said. "We need to come out of this ugly situation. In football, results count and we have a week to put things right, starting with the game at Barcelona. One thing is clear, we need to give much more because what we've done so far, is simply not enough."
At 2-1-0, Barca has an opportunity to put a stranglehold on the group. "We would love to win because it would place us in a great position in the group," forward Pedro said. "But Milan is a team that has a lot of potential and we cannot take them lightly."
Messi will try to find the net once again; he hasn't scored a goal since October 21st, although Pedro doesn't expect that to last. "Leo is ambitious," Pedro said. "He always wants to score but honestly, I see him calm. He is the best player in the world and the goals will come. Leo is not scoring but he is helping the team in other ways by giving assists."
If Messi still can't score, it shouldn't be too difficult for Neymar and Alexis Sanchez to pick up the slack.
