Johnny Manziel has as much trouble staying sober as he did keeping his job with the Browns, and he was partying with another embattled former teammate this weekend.

The former Heisman Trophy winner was cut by Cleveland in March and it's unlikely any other team will sign him until he makes an effort to clean up his act. Manziel has had noted struggles with alcohol, even checking himself into rehab, but he can't stop partying seemingly night in and night out.

This weekend wasn't any different. Manziel was spotted at Coachella with former Browns teammate Josh Gordon, according to TMZ Sports. The two were seen partying at bars during their road trip to the desert, flanked by a big crew.

Manziel has been a wreck as of late and has had his fair share of difficulty staying away from the party scene, despite his personal and professional life crumbling around him.

Not only did he get released from the Browns, but his ex-girlfriend, model Colleen Crowley, claimed the former quarterback physically abused her, allegedly hitting her so hard she lost hearing in her left ear in a Jan. 29 incident. The case is set to be heard by a grand jury.

Johnny Football partying with Gordon isn't only troublesome for him, but the receiver has also had his struggle with demons. Gordon has been suspended multiple times over the last four years due to violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Most recently, Gordon failed yet another drug test in March.

The Browns had a forgettable year in 2015, going 4-12, leading to the team to bring in Hue Jackson as its new coach. One of his first decisions was to cut Manziel after the embattled quarterback showed no signs of improving his lifestyle.

As for other suitors, not even Cowboys owner and noted Manziel supporter Jerry Jones wants to go near the quarterback.

"No, there's no place for Manziel," Jones' billionaire friend T. Boone Pickens told TMZ earlier this month. "He's through with football. I had dinner with Jones the other night and he said he's not on their list."

Jones himself said he believed Manziel had to change his ways before he'd even consider tendering a contract offer.

"What's got to get out of my mind is my concern for him, just his well-being," Jones told Peter King of Sports Illustrated in a recent interview. "Anybody should be rooting for and concerned about him getting his life together."
