Lindey Vonn announced Wednesday that her skiing season is over, but that doesn't mean she is lacking in other options.

The Olympian leads the World Cup standings, but she revealed on her social media pages that she has to bow out after sustaining a crash on Sunday in Andorra during a super-G race.

"Today I am making the difficult decision to end my season and leave the World Cup circuit due to an injury I suffered last Saturday," Vonn wrote on Instagram and Facebook, revealing doctors are fearful she'll suffer more damage to her left knee.

Though her season is over, Vonn's career can continue outside of the sport.

The skier can take a page out of MMA fighter Ronda Rousey's book by finding success in Hollywood. Rousey's highly-anticipated rematch with Holy Holm has been put on hold due to her busy acting schedule.

The former women's bantamweight champion has appeared in such movies as "Entourage" and "Furious 7."

Vonn has some experience in acting as she's taken part in commercials for her many endorsements, and even appeared on a "Law & Order" episode in 2010.

While Vonn has to prepare for the World Championships in St. Moritz next year and the Winter Olympics in South Korea in 2018, there is plenty of time, so perhaps she should consider success in another realm.
