Danica Patrick is yet to win a NASCAR race. When you dissect her personality, it's easy to see why.

Speaking about her boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s obsession with dirt-track racing, Patrick revealed she had a few obsessions of her own. They just fail to give her an edge on the race track.

Danica Patrick Found A Sport She Might Actually Win In

"Girls trips are a great cult for me. I love taking those," Patrick said, per Fox Sports. "I love cooking. I love my working out, whether it be Yoga or CrossFit or anything like that. I love vacations. I have to tread lightly on vacations. I'm like, 'Do you want to go somewhere. Do you not? If you do, I'm planning it, it's OK, I got this.' So I don't know.

"I don't have that super outside-of-racing thing that I'm into like he is into dirt racing. I'm much more homey away from the track."

It should be noted that by "cult," she means hobby ... and hers get softer the more she talks.

"I'm probably going to be ... what do they call it when you get older? Not journaling but scrapbooking," Patrick continued. "I'll probably scrapbook someday, but I make things, paint things, design things. I made my sister a dreamcatcher. Just stuff like that.

"That's kind of my escape."

Admittedly, every athlete needs an escape. An obsession with racing away from NASCAR won't necessarily culminate in victories. Stenhouse Jr. is living proof.

But Patrick's zen approach isn't yielding any results, either. It's time she considers alternative "cults."
