The early favorite to win the Royal Rumble Match hasn't even been announced as an entrant for the 30-man bout.

Triple H has been absent from WWE television (aside from NXT) since being attacked by reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at TLC in December. Despite this, "The Game" is the odds-on favorite to win the Royal Rumble Match on Sunday.

Booking Decisions The WWE Needs For Memorable Royal Rumble

Though Triple H hasn't been on T.V., he has the best chances to win the 30-man Rumble Match, according to Las Vegas bookmaker CG Technology (via the Cheap Heat podcast). It has widely been expected that the authority figure would return for WrestleMania season, but he hasn't been rumored to win the Rumble Match.

There has been a lot of speculation that Triple H, who won the 30-man melee in 2002, will strike a comeback to cost Reigns his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the contest. However, it's unknown if he'll be involved in the match itself as a participant.

Biggest Travesties In Royal Rumble History

Nevertheless, Triple H's odds are at -110, giving him a 10 in 11 chance of winning it all.

Reigns (+200) has worse odds than the COO, yet he has better odds than the man who should be one of the most obvious choices to win in Brock Lesnar (+250). This comes even with the knowledge that the reigning champion will enter as the No. 1 entrant, while it's uncertain what draw "The Beast" will get.

The early odds for the 30-man Rumble Match are certainly questionable. Still, the odds-makers did account for injured stars and surprise entrants, as well as midcarders who could potentially make a run.

Dean Ambrose (+1400) and Bray Wyatt (+1400) have identical odds, while injured Superstar Randy Orton (+1800) is also accounted for.

Other Superstars listed in the odds who could serve as surprise entrants are The Undertaker (+1800), AJ Styles (+2000), Finn Balor (+2500), The Rock (+2500), Samoa Joe (+4000), Batista (+5000), Vince McMahon (+10000) and Shawn Michaels (+10000).

The full list can be viewed here, but the early betting odds for the 2016 Rumble Match are strange.
