Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET the Bengals (11-3) will head to Denver to face the Broncos (10-4) in an AFC matchup that carries significant playoff implications. Live stream the tilt free by clicking this link. Bengals fans can listen to the game on WLW 700 while Broncos fans may do likewise on 850 KOA.
This tilt carries big implications for the postseason. While the Bengals’ playoff berth is no longer in jeopardy thanks to the Steelers’ unexpected loss to the Ravens on Sunday, their seeding is still up for grabs. The Broncos and Bengals are No. 2 and No. 3 in the AFC, respectively, but while Denver has an outside chance at the top seed, they could also be out of the picture entirely.
Breaking Down The AFC Playoff Race
If the Broncos win out, and the Patriots lose their final game next week, Denver would be the No. 1 overall seed. If they lose out, they’ll be watching the playoffs from their couches. While the Bengals will be forging ahead with backup QB A.J. McCarron running the show, the Broncos are also still trotting Brock Osweiler out there.
"It starts with me, and I need to play better in the second half, and I will play better in the second half," Osweiler said. "I'm judging my performances right now by wins and losses. Bottom line: I know I've got to get a win."
Manning Accused Of Using HGH To Heal From Neck Surgery
Osweiler crumbled in the second half in Week 15 vs. the Steelers, playing a major role in the Broncos blowing a 27-10 lead. Denver does have the league’s top defense, however, which will look to feast on the inexperienced McCarron.
