At some point, one has to wonder what NFL executives see when they watch Matt Cassel under center.
The Cowboys QB was shockingly awful -- yet again -- in the team’s 28-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday. Cassel finished 13-of-29 for 114 yards and zero TDs. Add an interception to that total, and the recipe is there for yet another Cowboys defeat.
How Does Matt Ryan Still Have A Job Over Tim Tebow?
The team is now 1-8 without Tony Romo.
Even Tebow doesn’t know what a 1-8 record feels like.
Tim Tebow Would’ve Saved Atlanta’s Playoff Hopes
What if Cowboys had picked up Tebow. Would have run away with division. And Romo could have come back fully healthy

Got a hard time believing that a guy like Tebow can't do better than Matt Cassel or Weeden. 1-8 without Romo, lol... #Cowboys.

Could Tim Tebow be that much worse of an option for the #Cowboys than Cassel?

Tim Tebow can 100% throw a better ball than Matt Cassel. That's how bad he has been. #CowboysNation #Cowboys

Breh Cowboys should seriously consider dropping Cassel and picking up Tim Tebow

Can the Cowboys please sign Tebow!!

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, the rest of the NFC East is finally correcting itself. Both Washington and the Eagles escaped with victories on Sunday, leaving the Cowboys to ponder how it all went wrong.
