Odell Beckham Jr. is perhaps the only person on the Giants who has a right to party.

Yes, the Giants are 5-7, but that has nearly nothing to do with the sure-handed wide receiver, who is still tearing up opposing team's secondaries in his sophomore season despite the extra attention defenses have put on him. Beckham is third in the league in receiving touchdowns (10, tied), fourth in receiving yards (1,154) and sixth in receptions (78, tied).

That's why it's totally acceptable for the 23-year-old receiver to be partying it up after yet another heartbreaking second-half meltdown from the Giants. Hours after the Jets handed their MetLife Stadium co-tenants a 23-20 overtime loss, Beckham was out until the wee hours of the morning. partying, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

"He was there until after 3 a.m.," an anonymous source told the Post. "He came with a group of guys, but not teammates. They ordered several bottles of Champagne and a bottle of Patrón. Girls were trying to come say hi, but he looked bored by them, like it was [a] guys' night out."

Beckham was out with rapper Jadakiss at club Haus and was also seen chatting it up with Draymond Green. He made sure to avoid exchanging pleasantries with Jets rookie wide receiver Devin Smith, who was also at the club.

One source told the Post that the Giants have been "cracking down" on players' social lives during this down year, while another added that Beckham could be an exception for his amazing play this season.

"Odell's their star right now . . . Most will say he's carrying the team," the tipster said. "He feels like he can go out and drink and have fun, because it's not him who is losing the games."

For what it's worth, a rep for the Giants told the publication that they team was not imposing hard rules against players going out and they "didn't know" where Beckham was spending his evenings.

Well, turns out he's at least been at Haus and he couldn't have taken the loss too hard if he was able to celebrate. Though they're 5-7, Big Blue could be celebrating a playoff berth in the coming weeks. The Redskins and Eagles are both also 5-7, while the 4-8 Cowboys occupy last place, so the NFL's worst division is up in the air.

Maybe if it clinches a playoff berth, the rest of the team will join Beckham in the partying.
