The Vikings proved yet again they are not ready for prime time during their blowout loss to the Seahawks, and Adrian Peterson said Minnesota coaches deserve a lot of the blame.

Seattle crushed the Vikings, 38-7, two weeks after the Packers crushed the Vikings, 30-13 when Minnesota had a chance to all but put away the NFC North Division crown.

Peterson, the NFL's leading rusher coming into the game (1,164 yards), was limited to 18 rushing yards on eight carries, and placed blame on everyone on the Vikings. The coaches were not exempt, according to Pro Football Talk.

"I felt like we were out of sync," Peterson told reporters. "Definitely give credit to Seattle; they did a good job of coming in and forcing us to do things differently. They were just the better team. They were more aggressive, more physical, and they outcoached us as well."

When pressed for more information about being outcoached, Peterson remained vague but didn't give the coaching staff any more leeway.

"In so many different areas," Peterson said. "And outplayed in so many different areas for us players as well."

At 8-4, Minnesota has been one of the surprise teams in the league, especially after the way the team looked in a 20-3 loss to the 49ers in the season opener. But the only Vikings win in the last three weeks has come against the Falcons, who have lost five straight.

Peterson wasn't thrilled with his limited touches (12 total -- eight carries, four receptions), but it's not like he had a great average when he did get the ball.

"What do you think?" Peterson said, when asked about his touches. "It is what it is, I'm not going to dwell on it because we have a long season ahead of us. So we'll come back, get our minds right."

With the Vikings set to play the Cardinals in Arizona on Thursday night, it appears that getting minds right applies to both the coaches and the players.
