The Warriors continue to win games and at the rate they are going, more records could be broken.

The absence of Harrison Barnes hardly mattered as the Warriors dumped the Kings (120-101) for their 18th straight win to start the season. Barnes’ absence was however made up by another player -- Brandon Rush.

“If he’s going to shoot like that, he’ll help fill the gap while Harrison is out,” says interim head coach Luke Walton via SFGate.com.

Seldom used and heard of, Rush scored 14 of his 16 points in the third quarter to ably fill in for an injured Barnes, who is nursing a sprained ankle.

He suffered the injury against the Suns Friday per reports from NBA.com.

Steph Curry Gets The Better Of LeBron James Again

With the Warriors comfortably ahead, Steph Curry sat out the fourth quarter yet again after contributing 19 points.

The win also allowed the Warriors to tie the 2007-08 Rockets, who had 22 consecutive regular season wins. But more records are ahead for Golden State if it continues its sizzling run.

That includes equaling the 27-game winning streak of the Heat, which was achieved in 2012-13 and even the all-time record of 33 straight wins set by the 1971-72 Lakers.

Draymond Green was equally impressive yet again, registering his second triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists behind Rush.

"They're on a magic carpet ride right now. They're playing great," Rudy Gay told reporters via Fox Sports. "They're just playing well right now. They're moving the ball and everybody's shooting the ball. Their defense is great. You hate to be on the losing side of it, but it's impressive."
