Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET the No. 7 Baylor (9-1, 6-1) will hit the road to take on the No. 17 TCU (9-2, 6-2) in a Big 12 matchup that promises fireworks. Baylor enters this game averaging 54 points a game, the best mark in college football. While that should have TCU quaking in their cleats, Baylor is down to their third-string QB after losing backup Jarrett Stidham for the rest of the season. Stidham had thrown 12 touchdowns against two interceptions this year in relief of Seth Russell.

TCU has their own quarterback that creates headaches for opponent, one-time Heisman candidate Trevone Boykin. Even with Boykin nursing a sore ankle, and star wide receiver Josh Doctson out, Baylor’s 76th-ranked defense is not built to shut down an offense like TCU’s and it remains to be seen if they can keep pace without Stidham leading the charge.

Outwardly, Baylor is expressing the utmost confidence in Chris Johnson, who was a receiver to start the season. "He's extremely confident. He has great ability out there," left tackle Spencer Drango told ESPN. "It feels like we've had the same quarterback (each week) since we started."

Baylor has more to play for -- they can still win the Big 12 title -- but TCU is prideful, and healthier where it matters.
