The Cowboys took a beating on Thanksgiving at the hands of the Panthers, and that included star receiver Dez Bryant being bottled up by cornerback Josh Norman, quite possibly the best corner in the NFL today. After the game, a fired-up Norman said the Cowboys should get a refund on the $70 million owed to him.

"Hey, they need to get Dez's 70 mil back," Norman said after Bryant was held to two catches and 26 yards on eight targets.

Norman said he gave extra effort because of Bryant’s pre-game woofing at the Panthers defensive backs.

“The disrespect was through the roof,” Norman said. “That took me to a whole other place. Once that happened, you can't get me fired up [enough].”

Bryant’s not the only player from whom Dallas might want to recoup some money in 2015. Quarterback Tony Romo has led the Cowboys to a 3-1 record in games he’s started; the problem there is he’s started only four of 11 games. Romo left the Thanksgiving game with another injury to his collarbone, and is likely out for the season.

Greg Hardy Grew A Brain Before Thanksgiving Game

They could use a refund on all running backs not named Darren McFadden. Lance Dunbar showed promise as a receiver out of the backfield before several ligaments in his knee exploded, rendering him unable to play for the rest of the season. Joseph Randle, the Week 1 starting running back, was ineffective for six games and embarrassing off the field. Their trade for RB Christine Michael was a bust as well; he rushed 15 times for 51 yards in a Cowboys uniform.

Finally, Dallas would probably like a do-over on defensive end Greg Hardy. While 4.5 sacks and an interception is good production from a defensive lineman, Hardy’s negative press has been overwhelming. He has proven to be a distraction off the field, not only because of his domestic violence history, but because of reported tardiness to team meetings. Dallas did now win a game that Hardy played in until last week, with Romo under center.

At this point the Cowboys would trade his 4.5 sacks to alleviate the headache he caused, especialy knowing they’d be 1-6 when he plays.
