It must be something in the water in L.A., because despite having won only two games so far this season, Kobe Bryant thinks the Lakers have a chance against Steph Curry and the undefeated Warriors, according to CBS Sports.

"I've seen stranger things happen," Bryant said Sunday after his team's 107-93 loss to the Trail Blazers at Staples Center. "We've been playing like s---. We might go up there and we might play like gangbusters up there. You never know."

The Lakers Made A Big Mistake Not Drafting Kristaps Porzingis

Um, yeah. The likelihood of that happening is basically zero. The Lakers, at times, have shown promise. But the Warriors are the defending champions and have arguably the best player in the league on their team. The Warriors are what the Lakers used to be -- good.

"They're the best team I've seen in the league and it's not close..." said Lakers head coach Byron Scott.

Kobe Bryant Finally Considering Retirement

The Warriors have a chance to do what only Michael Jordon's Bulls have done, and that's win 70 games in the regular season.

The Warriors are what we thought the Heat would be with LeBron James and that's dominant. As good as those teams were with King James, they never came close to the type of potential we may be seeing here with Curry and the Warriors.

And if the Lakers think they can beat them, they must be California dreaming.
