Don’t be the guy who has those last 10 points sitting on the bench because you took a gamble on a questionable player in Week 9. There are safer options to consider, and your fantasy team deserves better than that.

Marcus Mariota A Safer Choice Than Andrew Luck In Week 9

Below are three players with a questionable designation you should avoid on Sunday.

Andrew Luck Would’ve Been Happier In Carolina

Sammy Watkins, WR, Bills

Sammy Watkins will definitely play on Sunday. He made that abundantly clear on Friday.

"I'll definitely be out there," Watkins said in the locker room Friday, per ESPN.

That’s still not enough to justify starting him on your fantasy team. In four appearances this season, Watkins has just 147 yards and two TDs. Hardly enough productivity to even consider him as a flex option.

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts

Chuck Pagano was non-committal on T.Y. Hilton on Friday. The Colts head coach still considers Hilton a game-time decision.

“We’ll see how he feels when he comes in [Saturday] morning, see what the byproduct of the work [he did Friday] and see how he feels,” Pagano said, per ESPN.

Even at full strength, Hilton has no business featuring in your starting lineup. Not against a Broncos defense -- a No. 1 pass defense, mind you -- that held Aaron Rodgers to just 77 passing yards in Week 8.

Don’t expect Andrew Luck to to fare any better.

DeSean Jackson, WR, Washington

DeSean Jackson shouldn’t be starting on your fantasy team to begin with, but should you find yourself in a pinch, struggling to cover an injured player or bye week, look elsewhere.

Especially with Washington’s visit to New England.
