Lamar Odom, the ex-NBA champion who was in a coma fighting for his life mere weeks ago, is on his way to recovery with his formerly estranged wife Khloe Kardashian by his side. Kardashian reportedly had a recent confrontation with her momager, Kris Jenner, over Jenner asking Odom to sign a contract to be a part of the family’s reality show.
“Khloe confronted Kris after she found out that her mother tried to get Lamar to sign the contract in order to be able to use the footage that has been shot for next season’s show,” a source told RadarOnline.com. The show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” is entering Season 11, and the source said Jenner is keen on having Odom’s recovery be one of the storylines to drive ratings.

“Kris knows that that having this be a huge part of Season 11 would be great for ratings because viewers will definitely tune in,” the source said. “Khloe thinks that Kris is being completely irrational about this. She told Kris that Lamar is not a part of the show any more and neither she, nor him, will make money off of this. But in the end, Kris knows that she is going to win this fight because she calls the shots.”
RadarOnline.com also said that Jenner isn’t stopping at having Odom involved with Season 11 of the show. She’s also angling to arrange Odom’s first on-camera interview since his near-fatal overdose.

Many believe the attention Odom received as a member of the Kardashians’ reality show contributed to his NBA career crumbling, and his foray into drug use.
