Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion known as the “Baddest Man on the Planet,” isn’t the most stable person. Tyson is often very sensitive and insightful, but can change course in the next breath and utter the strangest things anyone has ever heard.

Tyson did just that during an interview on Hot 97, when he was asked about the situation ex-NBA star Lamar Odom is going through. Tyson said he has been in Odom’s position before, taking drugs in brothels. He said he never took them alone, which may have saved him, and then said “love overcomes everything,” when he talked about Khloe Kardashian’s presence.

THEN, he said “that’s that Lazarus p**sy, brought him back from the dead. He woke up like ‘Baby, I love you.’” Skip to about the 25 minute mark, or just spend a half hour of glee listening to the always-interesting Tyson.

The thing is, that might not crack the top five craziest things “Iron” Mike has ever said. Let’s take a trip down memory lane of one of the most bizarre, compelling sports careers ever.

There’s the multiple times “fornicating” has become a topic of conversation between Tyson and members of the media? Sometimes it’s kind of funny, but most of the time it seems very frightening.

What about the time he compared himself to just about every great heavyweight ever, and threatened to eat Lennox Lewis’ children before praising Allah in the next breath? Lewis didn't even have any kids yet!

Whew, that was heavy. How about when he started screaming about….uhh….sodomizing a guy after a press conference to promote the Lewis fight?

After all that, Lewis ended up knocking Tyson out in Round 8 of a 12-round bout in 2002.

In his older age, Tyson has mellowed out some. He’s been in movies, had a successful one-man show. But sometimes, the old “Iron” Mike just escapes, and we all get a reminder of what an assassin he was inside the ring.

As for his knockouts, the reason he was so feared? Here are some of his best.

So yeah, Lazarus p**sy is pretty out there, but it’s not touching Tyson’s best work.
