Peyton Manning is still Peyton Manning, and despite his ongoing struggles for the current season, the Broncos are going live and die with their prized quarterback.

With Denver still carrying an immaculate record, Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak was thrown an interesting question regarding Manning -- Will he be benched in favor of Brock Osweiler?

The reply was a resounding 'NO' and Manning will keep his role despite having perhaps one of the horrible seasons he has ever played. With that said, Manning will still start when the Broncos play the Raiders this coming Sunday.

This season, Manning hasn’t exactly panned up to the kind of player he is known for. That includes completing 63.5 percent of his passes for 1,234 yards to go with six touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Based on those season stats, it is the number of interceptions that seems to be surprising considering that Manning only had 10 for the entire 2013 season. At the rate he is going, he is likely to surpass the number of interceptions he had last year (15).

Regardless of the awful season he is having, Kubiak perhaps knows that at some point the good old quarterback who has thrown for 70,000 yards and over 500 touchdowns will show up.

Aside from that, the Broncos have seemingly grown with Manning at quarterback and a change at this point could become costly for the Broncos. He may not be the main reason for the clean slate, but the fact remains that he is tested and can at some point become the difference maker.

Instead of focusing a lot on Manning, the Broncos will have to step up their defense which could be a big help in easing the burden on an already struggling Manning.
