Bulls point guard and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose is the latest high-profile athlete to be accused of sexual assault. An ex-girlfriend of Rose’s claims that Rose and two associates, one of whom is his manager, broke into her home and forcibly gang raped her in 2013.
The accuser, whose name has not been released, said that she was invited to Rose’s home one night where he and his friends slipped a drug into her drink with the intention of raping her. She claims she escaped, only for Rose and the two other men to make their way into her home and commit the sexual assault. She said she can only remember “flashes” of the incident because she was incapacitated, but she does remember them raping her, according to TMZ.
