Breaking news: Florida State University running back Dalvin Cook has been suspended indefinitely from the program by head coach Jimbo Fisher after being accused of punching a 21-year-old woman in the face. Cook, 19-years-old, was charged with misdemeanor battery Friday afternoon. This stems from an argument in June between the two outside of a bar.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, the victim was intoxicated and had minor bruises from the incident. It occurred outside of Clyde's & Costello on South Adams Street in Tallahassee, Fla. The victim's name has not been released. State attorney Willie Meggs confirmed to ESPN that she doesn't attend FSU.

This alleged incident occurred one night before former Seminole quarterback De'Andre Johnson punched a different woman at a bar near the school's campus.

Here are five things to know about Dalvin Cook and his FSU career:

In 2014 Cook was named a freshman All-American after rushing for 1,008 yards.

Cook is listed at 6' 0'' 203 lbs and was the MVP of the ACC Championship Game during the 2014-15 season.

He entered this season as the projected starter at running back over junior back Mario Pender.

Cook is a product of Miami Central High School and a former five-star prospect. The high school's notable football alumni include Willis McGahee and former 'Nole Devonta Freeman.

In 2013, he was named Florida's "Mr. Football" the highest honor to a football player in the state. Tim Tebow and Anquan Boldin were past winners.
