The summer of Jericho may have taken a rough turn for the WWE Superstar-turned-rock star.

Chris Jericho told guest Corey Taylor from Slipknot on his Talk is Jericho podcast this week that he injured his neck during the WWE's Beast in the East special this past Saturday in Tokyo.
Jericho battled Neville at the event and he revealed that he injured his neck when he dove out of the ring and onto The Man That Gravity Forgot during the bout.

It's unknown how serious the injury is or if it will keep him sidelined from the action.
The WWE Tough Enough host re-joined the WWE this summer with a contract that sees him work limited non-televised events, but he made an exception to appear on the WWE Network special on July 4 in Tokyo.
Jericho said he doesn't want to return to the ring on television until there is something major planned for him and he joked that he was the "anti-Brock Lesnar" due to his limited schedule seeing him work house shows while The Beast only makes television appearances and sporadic big events.
"Y2J" noted on his podcast that he's only doing live events again this time around because he still has some commitments to his band Fozzy and he has an upcoming family vacation in the summer, so he is only working 19 house shows in June, July and August.
The four-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion also said he is excited to work with some of the WWE's younger talents and that he was looking forward to tearing the house down with Neville.
Aside from July 4, Jericho hasn't appeared on WWE television since he returned from a hiatus last summer and feuded with Bray Wyatt and then Randy Orton before leaving again in September.
Jericho then signed a similar live events deal with the WWE for January and February.
It doesn't seem as though Jericho's neck injury is too serious, but he was definitely banged up in Tokyo.
