What They're Saying

Chile head coach Jorge Sampaoli (via Goal): "[Mexico] are a team that can cause a number of difficulties. They pass the ball well in the midfield, they run a lot and they cover very short distances. They are a complex team that have similarities with Chile. It will be a very dynamic game with a lot of attrition because they have a lot of desire and conviction in what they do."

Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera (via Fox Sports): "We talked about this before coming to the tournament. We're going to have everything against us like in the World Cup. They have their people, their fans and they started the tournament well. We talked about how the officiating could be difficult and we could suffer again. We should be solid against any adversity."
