PGA Tour Leaderboard: St. Jude Classic 2015 Round 1 Recap, Ryan Palmer, Greg Owen Brooks Koepka Tie for Lead [VIDEO]

The first day of the 2015 St. Jude Classic came to a close on Thursday, with Ryan Palmer, Greg Owen and Brooks Koepka tying for the lead.

Brian Davis Steve Alker, Richard Sterne and Scott Brown sit one stroke back, while Tom Gillis and two others are two strokes behind. Below is a recap of the first day's events (via PGA Tour).

What They're Saying

Brooks Koepka: "I felt like I was playing really well. I just wasn't scoring well. Too many double bogeys and being a little too aggressive. To kind of pull the reins back and play a little safer, play a little less aggressive, it's nice to see it kind of pay off."

Ryan Palmer: "The work I put in before the round on the putting green paid off. I've always loved this golf course. Something about these greens get me going. I just found it this morning [on the practice green], the ball position, the width of my stance, I think I found it."

Greg Own: "I don't look at past results. It means nothing. To finally hit the shots I want to hit, I just want to keep hitting them. Wherever it leads us, it leads us."
