What They're Saying
Ireland manager Martin O'Neill (via Irish Examiner): "I think there will be an edge, of course I do. I think it will be great. Hopefully, serious injury apart, you've got time to recover and it will be great for the Championships players who've been out for a little while. But yes, I think it'll be a proper game. England will want to go into their final game in the summer time not having being beaten by us."
England striker Jamie Vardy (via Goal): "It's a massive opportunity, I never thought it would happen. I've just got to take it in my stride and show what I can do. The lads have made me feel really welcome, as well as the gaffer, and it's an experience I'm never going to forget. When I was at Fleetwood [Town in the Conference], I wouldn't have imagined I was signing for Leicester City, either. I'll be giving it my all, I want to show exactly what I can do, and hopefully it's enough to get brought into the squad next time as well."
