American Pharoah enters the final leg of the Triple Crown as the favorite, with the morning line placing him at 3-5. Frosted, at 5-1, isn't far behind.
What They're Saying
American Pharoah trainer Bob Baffert (via USA Today): "[American Pharoah's] body language is really good. He's shown me in his works he's really doing well and he's happy. His stride is ridiculously efficient and I think that's what you need for the Belmont. I think it should be set up really great for him."
Jimmy Bell (via Bloodhorse): "Listen, American Pharoah is a deserving favorite and has done nothing wrong. He's been very impressive. We're going to have to have an A+ day, but these races have a lot of intrigue and variables that can happen. It doesn't always go according to plan."
Keen Ice owner Steve Bouchey (via Oneida Daily Dispatch): "The American dream is to have the next Triple Crown winner and American Pharoah is a phenomenal horse, but as an owner, when you have a race horse you want that horse to win. There may be 90,000 people booing us in the winner's circle, but that would be a glorious thing."
