Tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET on Spike TV the Premier Boxing Champions series returns with a huge fight featuring Amir "King" Khan taking on Chris Algieri in a welterweight fight. Live stream the matchup free by clicking this link.

Khan (30-3-0, 19 KO) is looking to earn a shot at Floyd Mayweather Jr. in September. Khan has been itching to face Mayweather since last year, when he was passed over twice in favor of Marcos Maidana. This year, he was bypassed in favor of Manny Pacquiao; while Pacquiao has a much bigger name, Khan believes his style and skills are more suited to defeating Mayweather.

All the Mayweather talk hasn't distracted Khan from the Algieri fight though, according to Khan.

"I'm not looking past this Chris Algieri fight. I know it's a very dangerous fight for me. Stylistically, he's very dangerous, and I'm not going to be looking past it. If I do, I'll have made a mistake. I've looked past fights and made mistakes. It will put me right back where I don't want to be," Khan said.

3 Keys For An Algieri Upset

Algieri (20-1-0, 8 KO) only has one loss in is career-a one-sided defeat vs. Pacquiao-and that fight caused him to link up with famed trainer John David Jackson. Algieri knows a second loss against top competition might remove him from the top of the heap for a long time, as back-to-back losses did for Khan a few years ago.

"I wasn't happy with my last performance at all. I know I belong here at the elite level, and it's time for me to prove it. I like to challenge myself, and this is a great opportunity. I'm ready for this. I will challenge anybody in the welterweight division," Algieri said.

"We've been learning quite a bit. John has been bringing out a lot of aspects of my style, things I can do in the ring that I haven't had an opportunity to show just yet."

Prediction: Amir Khan def. Chris Algieri by unanimous decision.
