Aaron Hernandez, once a star tight end with a bright future for the New England Patriots, is going to spend the rest of his life in prison after a conviction of first-degree murder in the shooting death of former friend Odin Lloyd. Hernandez's life sentence without parole doesn't seem to have had any rehabilitating effect just yet though.

The former star found himself in trouble at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center when he served as a lookout for a fight between two gang members. Per CNN, all three men involved are facing discipline for the incident, and Hernandez has been moved to a "special management" section of the facility.

This isn't Hernandez's first brush with the law from behind bars. While awaiting trial Hernandez made headlines for assaulting a handcuffed inmate. According to reports that inmate had a history of arguing with Hernandez; one day Hernandez was walking freely down a hallway when he encountered that inmate in handcuffs, and proceeded to beat him. Following the attack Hernandez also was accused of threatening a corrections officer's life and his family.

Hernandez was also called a "master manipulator" by Bristol County Sherriff Thomas Hodgson. "He would make every effort to get extra sandwiches," Hodgson said. "He would just try to convince the officers to give him more than what they otherwise could get."

Hodgson said Hernandez will fit in well in jail, and shouldn't have trouble adjusting. "He doesn't really look at it as jail," Hodgson said. "It's more like training camp. He'll probably do fine. He'll be able to talk his way through everything."

Hernandez is still awaiting trial for a 2012 double murder in Boston, and was recently indicted for a 2013 shooting that left a man named Alexander Bradley without the use of one eye after Hernandez allegedly shot him in the face from close range.
