The Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets do not exactly have a friendly rivalry. To put it more accurately, the franchises despise each other. They are constantly fighting over players in free agency, and they are always looking to one-up the other. You can imagine how great it is for NBA fans that the two teams are facing each other in the first round of the playoffs.

And, true to form, the bad blood is already flowing despite the series only being one game old. The Rockets won a hotly contested game one, but Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has not taken the loss lightly. Instead, he spoke out to the media to voice his opinions about the Rockets.

Cuban spoke to Grantland about how he thinks that his team should have an advantage because of how one-dimensional Houston can be, which should give an excellent tactical coach like Rick Carlisle an opportunity to really disrupt the Rockets' game plan.

"[The biggest difference is] practice time. There's no more predictable team than the Rockets. You know exactly what they're gonna do," Cuban said. "But James Harden is so good. That's what analytics have begot. Right? Predictability. If you know what the percentages are, in the playoffs, you have time to counter them. Whether you're good enough to do it is another question. Because they are very talented, and James Harden, I think, is the MVP. Because that's not a very good team over there."

So far, Houston is winning the argument.
