Anaheim is hoping to up its physical play in Game 2.

"For us, we've got to continue laying the body," Ducks forward Patrick Maroon said via NHL.com. "We can't stop what we're doing. We've got to keep playing hard and playing between the whistles. That's playoff hockey, and that's what it's all about, just to get underneath [Winnipeg's] skin and [get them] rattled."

Winnipeg, meanwhile, looks to improve its all-around game.

"We've got some things we can do better, and I'm sure they'll say the same thing about their game," coach Paul Maurice told NHL.com. "But you got your money's worth from [Game 1]. If you want to see two teams go at it, that was a good, physical hockey game, and it was fun to be a part of."

Winnipeg turns to Ondrej Pavelec between the pipes and he allowed three goals while turning away 29 shots in Game 1.

Anaheim counters with Frederik Andersen between the pipes and he yielded two goals whie stopping 25 shots on Thursday.

The Ducks and Jets continue their Round 1 series with Game 2 live tonight from the Honda Center in Anaheim.
