Today at 3 p.m. ET, the Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning face-off for Game 2 of their Eastern Confference Round 1 best-of-seven series as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs live from the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay.

Detroit looks to take a commanding 2-0 series lead back home with it while Tampa Bay is hopeful to even up the series on home-ice before it shifts to the road.

The Red Wings notched a 3-2 victory on Thursday to open up the series.

Pavel Datsyuk notched two goals, one on the power play, and Luke Glendening scored a dazzling short-handed tally which held up as the game-winning goal in Game 1.

Glendening forced a turnover with Tampa Bay on the man-advantage and raced into the offensive zone, putting on the brakes and scoring a goal on the backhand after spinning around and scoring a goal.

The Lightning also had a short-handed goal as Brian Boyle scored a great goal with his team down a man. Nikita Kucherov also scored for Tampa Bay in the win.

Ben Bishop only faced 14 shots in Game 1, but allowed three goals. The Lighnting peppered rookie goaltender Petr Mrazek with 46 shots, but were only able to find the twine twice.

The Red Wings look to take a 2-0 series lead while the Lightning hopes to even things up when the puck drops live this afternoon from the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay as part of the 2015 Stanley Cup playoffs.
