Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, the Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators take the ice at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for Game 2 of their Round 1 best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff series.

Chicago looks to take a commanding 2-0 lead back home to the United Center for Game 3 while Nashville hopes to take care of its home ice to bring the series to Illinois tied 1-1.

The Blackhawks took Game 1 in a double overtime thriller on Thursday by a 4-3 score.

The teams traded chances back-and-forth in Game 1, but in the end Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith blasted a shot from the point for the game-winning goal. Keith also had an assist in the contest.

The Blackhawks fell behind 3-0 on two goals by Predators forward Colin Wilson and another tally by Viktor Stalburg.

Chicago netminder Corey Crawford was pulled after letting up three goals on 12 shots in the first period, and Scott Darling carried the team the rest of the way. Darling stopped all 42 shots he faced in the second and third frame and both overtime periods.

The Blackhawks will once again turn to Crawford between the pipes, eliminating a goaltending controversy.

"It was kind of a no-brainer," coach Joel Quenneville said via NHL.com. "In that situation [Wednesday], there's no book to look in and say, 'OK, what should I do at this moment?' It's a feel thing and it's not something that we're accustomed to doing, but the decision to go back with Corey [on Friday] was very easy."

The Predators will turn once again to Pekka Rinne, who allowed 38 goals on 42 shots on Wednesday.

Rinne was beaten by Niklas Hjalmarsson in the second period and also allowed power play tallies to Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews (goal, assist) in the same frame as Nashville coughed up a 3-0 lead.

Rinne isn't thinking too much about all of the playoff experience Chicago brings into the contest.

"It's a really big game for both teams, but especially for us," Predators Rinne told NHL.com. "Getting to have another chance to play at home, I think this is a building where we love to play. [It's] just another opportunity for us to come back and even the series, so it's a great opportunity for us."

Patrick Kane (clavicle) returned to the lineup on Wednesday and collected two assists.

The Blackhawks look to take a 2-0 series lead while the Predators attempt to tie things up when the lights come up tonight for Stanley Cup playoffs Round 1 action at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
