Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens play Game 2 of their Round 1 best-of-seven series live from the Bell Centre in Montreal as part of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Ottawa looks to even up the series before it shifts over to the Canadian Tire Center while Montreal hopes to take a 2-0 series lead by taking care of home-ice.

The Canadiens notched a 4-3 victory in a tight, controversial contest in Game 1 on Wednesday.

One of the biggest stories heading out of Game 1 was Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban slashing Senators rookie Mark Stone and receiving a game misconduct penalty.

Subban, who tied for second on Montreal with 60 goals in the regular season, didn't face any further discipline after the incident. Stone, 22, suffered a broken wrist, but still finished the game. Stone was second on Ottawa with 26 goals this season.

Stone's availability for the rest of the series is up in the air.

"You don't like one of your best players getting hurt," forward Chris Neil said per NHL.com. "You don't like to see that at all. [Stone is] a tough guy. He's not lying there like a soccer player diving. You knew that one hurt him for sure."

The Canadiens are likely without one of their top players again as Max Pacioretty (upper-body) still hasn't been cleared to return.

"He's having another good day and we'll let you know [Friday] if he's ready," coach Michel Therrien told NHL.com at practice Thursday.

Pacioretty led the Canadiens with 37 goals and 67 points in the regular season.

In Game 1, Brian Flynn notched the game-winner for Montreal and finished with two helpers. Ottawa's offense was paced by Mika Zibanejad, who had one marker and one assist in the loss.

The goaltending matchup is still one of the most intriguing facets to this series as the favorite to win the Vezina Trophy, Carey Price, enters a crease battle with the hottest goalie in the second half of the season, Andrew "The Hamburglar" Hammond.

Price turned aside 30 of the 33 shots he faced in the win while Hammond yielded four goals and stopped 35 shots.

The Senators look to even things up while the Canadiens hope for a 2-0 series lead when the lights come up on Game 2 of their Round 1 playoff series as part of the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs live from the Bell Centre in Montreal.
