Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was convicted Wednesday on all 30 counts that he faced for his role in the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. Out of the charges against him, 17 carry the possibility of Tsarnaev receiving the death penalty. The conviction was met with a huge outcry of support from the public, and there is little to no sympathy for Tsarnaev coming from anyone.
RG3's Starting Role To Be Jeopardized By Newborn?
The defense never intended to prove that Tsarnaev was innocent, instead proclaiming his guilt from their opening statement. However, they tried to paint a picture of a young man that was coerced and cajoled into playing a role that he did not support by an older brother that masterminded the whole attack.
In the end, the jury decided that Tsarnaev was responsible for his own actions, and he will have to face the consequences of the atrocities that he commited.
