When Alex Rodriguez returns to major league baseball for the first time since 2013, he's going to be doing it with a brand new girlfriend by his side.

The disgraced and polarizing Yankees third baseman -- who's dated celebs like Kate Hudson, Madonna, and Torrie Wilson in the past -- is reportedly getting close with fitness model and college track & field coach Erin Simmons.

The two were spotted as each others' dates at a charity event recently.

No word on whether A-Rod is using his personal relationship with Simmons to get in tip top shape before next week's opening day.
