Set inside Indianapolis; Hinkle Fieldhouse, home of the Butler Bulldogs and just a short distance away from the Final Four's host site of Lucas Oil Stadium, the competition saw Portland's Cassandra Brown top Gonzaga's Kevin Pangos, in a big win for the girls.

Pangos is no slouch, either. He's a four-year starter for the Zags, and a career 1,824 point scorer, which is good for fifth all time in the university's history. He's also a career 40%+ shooter from deep. Brown was also a four-year star for Portland, and she lead the team in scoring the past two seasons. This year she chipped in a line of 17.8 points and 6.4 rebounds, to earn herself a spot on the WCC's second team all-conference.
