The Streak is over, but the "Deadman" will rise again as The Undertaker is set to battle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31.

Countdown to WrestleMania 31: 3 Best Moments From WrestleMania XV (15)

The WWE is likely keeping 'Taker off of television until he emerges at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California to meet "The Eater of Worlds."

Will The Undertaker improve to 22-1 or fall to 22-2 at the "Showcase of the Immortals" later this month?

10 Best Undertaker Feuds In WrestleMania History

The Undertaker racked up a legendary streak at WrestleMania, going 21-0 from WrestleMania VII in 1991 through WrestleMania XXIX in 2013, but then he met "The Beast."

Brock Lesnar became the one in the 21-1 by defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX last April in New Orleans to take his place in history by ending The Streak.

The loss put the Demon from Death Valley's career in doubt following an injury, but it was confirmed last week on RAW that he will return to take on Wyatt at the biggest show of 2015.

Jimmy Snuka (WrestleMania VII), Jake "The Snake" Roberts (VIII), Giant Gonzalez (IX), King Kong Bundy (XI), Diesel (XII), Sid (13), Kane (14 and XX), The Big Boss Man (XV), Triple H (X-7, XXVII and XXVIII), Ric Flair (X-8), A-Train and The Big Show (XIX), Randy Orton (21), Mark Henry (22), Batista (23), Edge (XXIV), Shawn Michaels (XXV, XXVI) and CM Punk (XXIX) all fell prey to The Streak during 'Taker's legendary run.

Will Wyatt join that group, or will he go down with Lesnar in the history books as the only other man to defeat 'Taker at WrestleMania?

At first glance, it's hard to say which is the better route and one could only wonder just how awesome this feud would be if Wyatt were going after The Streak in his attempt to become the new Face of Fear in the WWE.

On one hand, Lesnar right now is THE MAN as he defeated The Undertaker to end The Streak and then went on to decimate John Cena at SummerSlam in August to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which he still holds to this day.

With Lesnar ending The Streak, there is some weight to the argument that no one else should beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania so that Lesnar goes down in history as the only man to do it.

However, there is also another argument to be made and that is what the impact of winning this match holds for Wyatt as opposed to The Undertaker.

If Wyatt defeats The Undertaker, despite The Streak not being attached, it automatically catapults him into the conversation as one of the top heels in the company.

Wyatt has been unbelievable on the microphone and is easily one of the most compelling characters in the WWE right now.

For proof of that, look no further than the fact that he is single-handedly carrying his feud with an absent "Deadman" and it's still some of the most interesting and compelling stuff on the entire three-hour RAW show lately.

Yes, the WWE used parlor tricks to make it seem like 'Taker is involved in the storyline, but it would mean nothing without Wyatt maniaclly selling it with a host of reactions ranging from hysteria to giddiness to sullenness.

Now, should The Undertaker win this match and then go back in hiding for another year until WrestleMania 32, or possibly retire, what does it do for Wyatt?

Sure, maybe 'Taker should get a bounce-back win to show he's not broken, but wouldn't that be better at WrestleMania 32 in his home state of Texas anyway?

Wyatt is already 0-1 at WrestleMania after falling to John Cena last year at WrestleMania XXX, so it would be nice to see the "Eater of Worlds" actually be able to knock off a top face under the biggest spotlight on the grandest stage.

Lesnar is already going down as the guy who ended The Streak, so even if Wyatt wins, Lesnar will always be the first man to top 'Taker.

A win for Wyatt will go a long way for him while a second consecutive loss at WrestleMania for The Undertaker won't damage him too much as he has 21 names on his WrestleMania body count already, and it would make for a huge storyline surrounding his comeback at WrestleMania 32.

The WWE probably should have kept The Streak alive for this encounter, but it shouldn't punish Wyatt for a lack of long-term creative planning once he faces the "Deadman" at WrestleMania 31.

The Undertaker is an impressive 21-1 at the WWE's cornerstone event. At WrestleMania 31, he should fall to 21-2.

A new Face of Fear is ready to haunt the WWE.
