Russell Westbrook has kept Oklahoma City thriving despite reigning MVP Kevin Durant missing the past three games to have another surgery on his foot. Westbrook has been excellent as the lead dog, mimicking some of the success Durant had last year when Westbrook was absent from the lineup.

In the last three games Westbrook has averaged 24.7 points, 12.3 assists and 8.7 rebounds a night. Over the same three games the Thunder have walloped opponents by margins of seven, 25 and 13 points.

"He just continues to stack games up on top of one another," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "He's played well. He's doing a great job of leading us, leading the new guys and leading the group. Making it all come together."

Power forward Serge Ibaka's production has peaked as well over the past three games with not only increased offensive responsibility, but less defensive attention thanks to the addition of Enes Kanter at center. Ibaka's averaged 19.7 points and 10 rebounds over these three tilts, as opposed to his season averages of 14.2 and 7.9.

The Suns are going in the opposite direction. They've lost four of their last five, but snapped a four-game skid by scoring 110 points on Denver's hapless defense last night.
