Ronda Rousey has a problem with what she perceives as an unequal pay situation in mixed martial arts.
Ronda Rousey Prepping For Cat Zingano
The UFC’s undefeated bantamweight champ made headlines this week when she attacked the organization’s ring girls for making more money than many of the fighters. This led famous ring girl Arianny Celeste to brand Rousey as a “bully.” Rousey responded to that accusation on Wednesday.
“What did I say that I was a bully?” Rousey said, via MMA Junkie. “I said that the fighters should get paid more than the ring girls. That doesn’t make me a bully, that makes me f*****g right.
“I’m sorry, but she wouldn’t have a job if it wasn’t for the fighters. She wouldn’t. Do you think her walking in circles around the two guys or two girls out there like, fighting for their lives is worth more? You think she works harder than they do? I didn’t say that she needed a pay cut. I said either the ring card girls are paid too much or the fighters aren’t paid enough.”

Ring girls aren't the only person Rousey is locking horns with this week. She and Cat Zingano are co-headlining UFC 184, which goes down this Saturday at the Staples Center.
