A few months ago, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho was doing everything he could on the field to help the team make the playoffs. Off the field, he got himself involved in a Twitter bet that he ultimately ended up losing.

While the playoff plans did not pan out, Acho did stick with his losing Twitter bet. Basically, a high school girl named Hannah Delmonte reached out to Acho with an Instagram direct message asking if she could take him to prom if she got enough retweets. He set the bar at 10,000, and she posted the conversation on Twitter. She got the retweets in a matter of hours, and now Acho is honoring his promise.
