Charles Barkley was an imposing and controversial NBA figure as a player, and he's adopted the same persona as a member of the media in the past decade.

Even just recently Barkley has shown he's unafraid to tussle or go at anyone he has a bone to pick with, be it Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey, actress Gabrielle Union or Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.

Now Barkley is honing his acid-laced tongue on a trio of fellow sports analysts.

Speaking on The Dan Patrick Show on Thursday, Barkley showed no remorse in ripping ESPN's Skip Bayless and the New York Post's Peter Vescey and Phil Mushnik, referring to them as "scumbags."

Bayless, who's known for his brash on-camera attitude and never-ending series of 'hot takes,' got the brunt of Barkley's barbs. He called Bayless a “punk-ass” hater, and said the latter had “surpassed Vecsey as the biggest jackass in the history of journalism.”
