Reggie Bush Baby [PHOTO]: Lions Running Back Shows Off Child's Picture On Father's Day

Reggie Bush, the new Detroit Lions running back, shared the first public photo of his daughter Briseis this Father's Day on Instagram. Bush and his wife Lilit Avagyan welcomed Briseis to the world in May.

Bush captioned the photo "Enjoying my first Father's Day with my family! #blessed." A little while after his daughter was born, Bush told reporters, "She's amazing. She's so beautiful. I love her to death. It's just been an amazing experience so far so I'm very excited - just being a father."

With training camp fast approaching, and Bush needing to get up to speed in a new offense, he better enjoy every second with Briseis, because once the season starts he will need to commit full-time to becoming one of the most important cogs in Detroit's attack.

Bush was productive as the lead back for the Miami Dolphins last season, in what was his first season as a true lead back. He carried the ball 227 times for 986 yards and six touchdowns. Despite carrying the load, he often ceded goal line touches to the larger Daniel Thomas, which hurt his touchdown totals.

He is looked upon as a savior of sorts for the Lions, who have not been able to find a dynamic runner that can truly complement the aerial assault of quarterback Matthew Stafford and No. 1 receiver Calvin Johnson.

Bush possesses game-breaking speed, between-the-tackle chops, as well as above-average pass catching capability. That role was supposed to be handled by Jahvid Best, but a severe concussion has sadly taken his career off the rails.

Bush knows he's being compared to Best, saying, "I definitely see the opportunity to be able to make an impact on this offense right away. What they were able to do with Jahvid Best, they were able to do something special. But it's not just about me. Hopefully, we can all be effective on this offense because it's going to take more than one running back."
