Cleveland has attracted a ton of attention recently not only because of a brief Twitter spat between star players LeBron James and Kevin Love, but also because they've been winners in 14 of their last 15 games. The Bulls are on a three-game winning streak of their own though, and point guard Derrick Rose thinks that their best basketball is ahead of them.
"We still have a long way to go," Rose said after the Bulls beat the Kings. "We still have to get everyone on the same page. We are getting better each game. Even in our losses, we improve in some quarters. It's one game; we've got to keep this going."
Part of Chicago's strong play has been the output of newly acquired forward/center Pau Gasol, who is averaging 18.4 points and a career-high 12.2 rebounds in his first season in Chicago. "I play the right way, I play hard, I try to help my team to win and right now I'm playing at a high level," Gasol said. "I just want to keep it going."
Gasol may not have to deal with Love tonight, after he left last night's game vs. the Heat following an accidental eye poke. Even if Love misses the game though, Chicago will have their hands full with James, who thrives in the Windy City. He has scored 31.7 points per game over his past 17 tilts at the United Center.
