Chris Paul has had what some would describe as a bad week.

Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant capped CP3's forgettable stretch during the Thunder's 131-108 rout of the Clippers on Sunday, according to USA TODAY Sports' For the Win.

With the Thunder comfortably ahead 93-71 with 2:25 left in the third quarter, Paul was caught on camera shooting a midrange jumper and holding up his right arm for an extra beat that drew the ire of Durant, who was on the bench.

As Paul look over at the Okahoma City bench, KD, who led all scorers with 29 points, had a response ready: He said, "You're down 20 now, homie" twice.

It was the second, albeit far more minor, incident for Paul during the week.

The NBA on Saturday fined Paul $25,000 for comments he made publicly about first-year official Lauren Holtkamp, who called a technical foul on him on Thursday during the Clippers' loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

"Some of [the technical fouls] were ridiculous," Paul said, according to ESPN. "The tech that I get right there was ridiculous. I don't care what nobody says, I don't care what she says; that's terrible. There's no way that can be a tech. We try to get the ball out fast every time down the court, and when we did that, she said, 'Uh-uh.' I said, 'Why, uh-uh?' And she gave me a tech.

"That's ridiculous. If that's the case, this might not be for her."

A day later, Paul insisted that his comment was referring only to "a bad call." The NBA told ESPN that its fine was based only on public criticism of an official.

Of course, Paul's second "offense" of the week - admiring his shot in a blowout defeat - didn't escape the ridicule of one commenter on Deadspin, who linked it to his first offense.

"If CP3 doesn't understand that trying to act tough and mad-dogging while getting the (crap) kicked out of you looks really dumb, maybe this isn't for him," someone commenting under the name of "Batista Thumbs Up" wrote on Deadspin.
