Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, Los Angeles Kings (20-14-12, 52 points) and San Jose Sharks (24-17-6, 54 points) face-off for the third of five meetings live from the SAP Center in San Jose. The game can be live streamed for free here. Los Angeles fans can hear all of the action on Fox Sports 570 while San Jose fans can do the same on KFOX 98.5.

Los Angeles has lost three straight games entering tonight while San Jose has dropped two straight games as it continues a lengthy homestand that will be disrupted by the All-Star break.

The Sharks own the third and final automatic playoff spot in the Pacific Division while the Kings are one point out of the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.

These teams have traded wins with San Jose picking up a 4-0 win on Opening Night on Oct. 8 and L.A. notching a 3-1 triumph in their last meeting on Dec. 27. The Kings came from behind last spring to oust the Sharks in seven games after a 3-0 deficit in the opening round of the playoffs en route to the Stanley Cup.

The Kings are coming off of a 2-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Monday and will look to bounce back.

Anze Kopitar has paced Los Angeles with 35 points off of 11 goals and 24 assists. Jeff Carter is second on the Kings with 32 points off of 11 markers and 21 helpers while Drew Doughty has found the twine four times and added 24 assists for 28 points.

The Sharks fell 5-2 to the New Jersey Devils there last time out on Monday and will look to take it out on their division foes.

Joe Pavelski leads San Jose this season with 41 points off of 23 goals and 18 assists. Logan Couture has 16 markers and 23 helpers to rank second on the Sharks with 39 points while Joe Thornton has lit the lamp 10 times and added 26 assists for 36 points.

San Jose is likely to turn to Antti Niemi in the crease and he is 18-11-5 with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage.

Los Angeles is expected to counter with Jonathan Quick in between the pipes and he is 16-11-10 with a 2.45 GAA and a .912 save percentage.
