Cena posted a Vine video onto his Twitter of himself doing squats Monday morning and wrote a workout pun that seemed to put down people who don't work hard.
Anyone who says they're working their ass off, isn't doing squat! #dothework #earnit #nevergiveup https://t.co/p1ujZZi0L2

Storm then lashed out at Cena, who has 6.76 million followers, over the post.
@JohnCena @WWE Nothing like insulting a lot of hard working people John. Quite the arrogant comment, no? — Lance Storm (@LanceStorm) January 19, 2015
Cena didn't respond, but a fan contacted Storm and asked him whether or not he took the tweet the wrong way as it was meant as a pun due to the fact that Cena was doing squats in the video.
@CoachDeCarlo @JohnCena @WWE Millions of people follow him. He should think bigger — Lance Storm (@LanceStorm) January 19, 2015
Storm, who has 169,000 followers, has never been shy about giving his honest opinion on WWE Superstars and storylines in the past.
Cena hasn't responded to Storm, but his sights are set on Sunday night's big match at the Royal Rumble live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Cena will battle champion Brock Lesnar and fellow challenger Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the show, which officially begins the road to WrestleMania 31.
The winner of the match is likely to face the winner of the 30-man Royal Rumble Match at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California as long as they keep the title following the main event of the Rumble.
