Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-1) will take on the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes (12-1) in the Sugar Bowl. It will also be the second College Football Playoff game in NCAA history. Watch the game on ESPN or live stream it free by clicking this link. Alabama fans can hear the radio broadcast on 92.9 The Game, while Buckeyes fans may do likewise on Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan.

The Buckeyes slammed Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game, but lost their second-string quarterback J.T. Barrett in the process. Barrett took over before the first week of the season for Braxton Miller, who was expected to contend for the Heisman Trophy.

Tonight, Cardale Jones will be tasked with overcoming a brutal Alabama defense. Against the Badgers he entered the game and threw three touchdown passes against no interceptions. The Crimson Tide figure to make that type of efficiency difficult; they give up just 15.4 points per game, tops in the nation.

The Buckeyes defense is above average as well. They rank 16th in the country in points allowed per game (19.6), and are especially stingy in pass defense giving up just 188 yards per game. That might make things tougher than expected for Alabama quarterback Blake Sims, who has thrown for 3,250 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2014. Sims also poses a threat in the running game. He has accounted for 321 yards and six scores on the ground.

The greater threat might be Alabama's tough rushing duo of junior T.J. Yeldon and sophomore Derrick Henry, who have combined for 1,817 yards and 20 touchdowns.
