The San Francisco 49ers put on a dismal display during their Thanksgiving night game, falling to the Seattle Seahawks 19-3.
Despite playing at home in front of a raucous Levi's Stadium crowd, and despite the massive divisional and NFC playoff implications of the matchup, San Fran was flat from the opening kickoff and struggled to string together anything resembling a solid drive for most of the game.
The team's defense was also beaten down by the Seahawks -- the Niners were more than doubled in total yardage (379-164).

After the game, 49ers chief executive officer Jed York was furious with the team's glaring lack of effort and execution. As such, he took to Twitter to apologize directly to the fans.
Thank you #49ersfaithful for coming out strong tonight. This performance wasn't acceptable. I apologize for that

When asked about the tweet and the sentiments expressed therein, San Francisco head coach Jim Harbaugh played dumb. "I don't know anything about the tweet," Harbaugh said, per CBS Sports reporter Will Brinson. "They played better as a team than we did."
49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick echoed York's opinion. "It's not acceptable. We didn't play well," he told the Bay Area News Group's Cam Inman. We have much higher standards."
The team will look to rebound from its insipid performance next Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. At 7-5 and sitting in their place in the NFC West, the 49ers' postseason aspirations face an uphill battle.
